At our Nease Beachfront Park, 3171 Coastal Highway. The County Recreation and Parks Department along with Marineland Dolphin Adventure for an interactive beach walk all about sharks. Learn about shark biology, common sharks of our area, local shark research, human encounters with sharks. Look for shark’s teeth. Free, but please register. PGA BIKE MS CYCLE TO THE SHORE
Rest Stop at South Ponte Vedra Civic Assn
Be alert for teams of bicycles on A1A during this two day cycling event from TPC Sawgrass to the Daytona Beach band shell at the boardwalk and back. VeloFest is sponsoring this event once again In partnership with Old Town Trolley and based at the Old Jail at their headquarters on San Marco Avenue. Goes over the Vilano Bridge and back via Magnolia Avenue. Halloween costume can win big prizes. The Trick Stars will perform, hot cocoa bar, bloody marys from Tea and Spice Exchange, local craft beer, Kookaburra Coffee, live music. Free bike helmets and lights for kids.
