Vilano Beach Art Program

 North Shore Improvement Association is now offering ART INSTRUCTION throughout the year. 

 Beginning September 27, 2017, NSIA be hosting the Vilano Beach Art Program every Wednesday.

Classes or Open Studios will be scheduled regularly and posted on community calendars.

Classes and workshops for a variety of media will be available.

 Public invited !  Every Wednesday for an artful adventure in Vilano Beach! 

Vilano Beach Art Programs offer art education opportunities for community residents and visitors to explore and master skills in multiple art media presented in instructional sessions located at the organization’s community center. Ten workshops featuring variable art forms will be scheduled throughout the year and promoted to the greater St. Augustine audience to participate. Classes will be conducted by Vilano Beach artists in their respective genres. A sampling of classes may be: A Painting Day; Beginners Acrylic Landscape Painting; Plein Air Classes; Watercolor & Mixed Media; Clay and Colors; Portraits from Photos; Mosaics; Beginning Drawing; Kid Camps – Bricks4Kidz; Senior Swag – open medium. Students will have an opportunity to display art creations at the first Friday Art Off the Beaten Path events in Vilano Beach and a planned mini festival for the spring of 2018. Students will pay modest fees to participate and instructional artists will be paid modest stipends.


Note: Art instruction will be offered by qualified professionals renowned in their media.

Cost:  North Shores members $5, non-members $10.  First session free. Come try us out.

 “FAMILY ART WORKSHOPS”  ~  2nd SUNDAY – 1 to 3 p.m. * NOV 12
Each session will have an art to create and bring home.  First session on November 12 = “Shoes and Clothes to Dye For.”  Cost:  $10 per person, $20 non-members, plus cost of materials depending on the art.  Family rate:  $25 per family (up to 4 family members) for NSIA members, $5 for additional family members.  For non-members $45 and $10 for additional family members. 

Bring your own shoes or tee shirts for decorating. Aome items may be available for purchase. Paints and other goodies will be supplied.
Walk out with a completed work of art!
